I once owned a Hillman Minx car;
In comfort I travelled afar;
It had style, power, and class
And would easily pass
Anything on the road 'cept a bar.
A criminal sitting in jail;
Could do nothing but worry and wail.
He sullenly thank
Next time I rob a bank;
I'll save a few bucks for the bail.
Time for my plants to come in,
Cold weather is supposed to begin,
But where's all the space,
In this freakin small place?
I believe I could use some gin.
Its rainy and cool outside.
We had to bring Mom for a ride,
To Grammy's she went,
Cause my nerves are spent,
If I said I was somber I lied.
The grapeships sailed into Modesto
And were unloaded onto the press, oh
This crop was so fine;
T'will be premium wine
Which we will drink with great gusto !
The grape boats sail on so fine,
Into arbors and tie up with vine.
The cargo gets pressed,
Some has spilt on my vest
The juice will soon be Old Duke wine.
